The Digital Touchline
The consumer revolution to the Internet continues to leave the future of the printed word in doubt. Almost 60 percent of Americans in their 30s and younger say they get their information via a screen, be it a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone. That means the digital revolution is no longer something we talk about as happening in the future. The revolution is here.

The digital Touchline is information and entertainment for the avid soccer youth player and fan. The Touchline is the vanguard. With no status quo to preserve, we are reinventing the state association soccer newspaper/magazine in a dynamic, interactive digital form. We are creating the future, unencumbered by conventional thinking of the past.

The World is Going Digital; Why You Should Too
READERS ARE LESS LIKELY TO IGNORE ADS IN DIGITAL MAGAZINES  A study entitled "The Case of Advertising in Interactive Digital Magazines" by a company called Smarter Media Sales shows readers are less likely to ignore display ads in digital editions than on Web sites. In a recent survey 70 percent said they were more likely to pay attention to display ads in digital magazines. On average, interactive magazines are viewed for 20 to 30 minutes while the average Web site visit is eight to nine minutes. Seventy-one percent of readers said ads in digital editions were less intrusive than Web sites, while 79 percent said ads in digital editions were more credible.
